Krispy Kreme – during your birthday month (or the following month), claim a free doughnut of your choice. Sign up for Krispy Kreme’s reward program and download their free app. You’ll get a free doughnut for signing up too!
Greggs – offer a birthday treat accessible via the Greggs app. Register for their loyalty scheme to receive a voucher for a complimentary cream cake, doughnut or cupcake on your birthday.
Hotel Chocolat – this brand always brings me back to being sat at the dining table and on a very rare occasion being allowed to choose a chocolate from mum’s Hotel Chocolat box. Without a doubt, I always went for anything that looked like it had a strawberry-flavoured filling. Treat yourself to £5 off when you download the VIP.ME app and join their loyalty club. The app also gets you 20% off in-store on drinks and ices along with a 15% off welcome offer.
Frankie & Benny’s – offer rewards if you sign up for their newsletter. They offer birthday freebies food and drink in the form of one free meal (another main meal must be purchased) or a bottle of prosecco for £10. The voucher is valid for 50 days, plenty of time for you to find a booking and organise with friends.
Beefeater – rewards club allows you to collect points when you purchase items from their menu. Similar to Frankie & Benny’s, you will receive one free main meal when another is purchased. Currently, they are offering 50% off mains for new signups.
Barburrito – join the La Familia loyalty scheme for a free birthday burrito. Plus, every 10th meal is free!
Las Iguanas – if you’re fancying some more Latin American goodness on your birthday, sign up for the Las Iguanas’ mailing list to receive a free meal voucher. You must buy at least one other main meal for the deal. Make it a date!
Lidl – if you haven’t visited Lidl’s bakery aisle yet, then you are missing out. With a Lidl Plus account, you are eligible for a Lidl Plus birthday coupon, which will get you one free chocolate chip cookie from their bakery. The coupon is valid till three days after your birthday.

Miller & Carter – If you’re out for a steak night on your birthday, Miller & Carter will gift you a bottle of prosecco to go with your dinner if you sign up for their newsletter. You can also download their app for a complimentary glass of fizz and many more excellent bonuses.
Starbucks – for birthday freebies Starbucks awards a coupon on your birthday for a free drink of your choice if you are a Gold Member. Sign up to their reward scheme to start collecting points and level up. The coupon remains valid for 30 days.

Swagbucks – we’ve suggested using Swagbucks before as a creative way to make money. As a member, you will earn extra SBs on your birthday! Currently, you earn 50SB, but from the 1st of June, this will increase to 55SB. The Swagbucks must be redeemed within 30 days, i.e. you must purchase a gift voucher with the SB you’ve been gifted.
